What Mansa Tea community can do during COVID-19

This is an unprecedented time, and the uncertainty this crisis brings makes it hard for everyone. We don't know how long this will last, but one thing we do have control over is how we adapt to our new environment and how we take care of ourselves as best as we can.

As a small business that works closely with restaurants and hotels, we also feel the direct impact of COVID-19. To help all of us get through this crisis together, we'd love to have you join us on the following initiatives.

One of the ways that you can take care of your physical and mental health through COVID-19 is to make your tea drinking into a daily ritual. Not only is tea a good source of antioxidants, but it can also help you stay calm and focused.

To help achieve your goal and create accountability within our community, Mansa Tea is hosting a 30-Day Challenge with tips on how we can improve our day-to-day wellness during COVID-19.

Over the 30 days, we will be emailing you daily with tips, motivational messages, and an Instagram story template you can use to share your progress with your friends and family. You can sign up for the 30-Day Challenge here.

Need an additional incentive? For customers who have purchased Everyday Aged Tea, we are gifting a free 1oz bag of Everyday Aged Tea after successful completion of the challenge!

2. Learn more about tea

With increased time we spend at home, many of us are finding ourselves with extra time on hand. Now is the time to learn something new or take your existing knowledge to the next level.

To help expand our knowledge in tea, we are offering our usual workshops in a virtual format. You can sign up for a virtual tea workshop here.

If you would like to learn about a specific topic, email me! As a certified tea sommelier, I love sharing my passion for tea by educating tea lovers.

If you would like to have a private virtual class, we can arrange that too. Email me as well!

More interested in literature? I highly recommend the following two books from Jane Pattigrew. Not only is she a tea historian and educator, but she is also a mentor to me as I studied under her.

The New Tea Companion: A Guide to Teas Around the World will provide a great overview of teas from different regions. If you want a deep-dive into each of the regions in an encyclopedia fashion, I recommend Jane Pettigrew's World of Tea: Discovering Producing Regions and their Teas.
