Jeju Sejak Green (2023 Organic)

$28

Experience the essence of Jeju Sejak Green Tea

The 2023 edition of Jeju Sejak Green Tea reflects Jeju Island's beauty and richness, offering you a tea that is as vibrant as its surroundings. Plucked from tender early spring leaves, this tea has a refreshing flavor that mirrors the island's pristine air and pure waters.

This batch of Sejak is a unique blend of steamed and pan-fried leaves, resulting in a tea that boasts toasted and rich umami notes with a satisfyingly fuller body. First introduced as part of our Jeju Tea Tasting Set, this Korean green tea has made a triumphant comeback due to popular demand.

Sejak (translated “thin sparrow”) is the second best grade of Korean green tea after woojeon (translated "before the first rain"), which is picked earlier in the spring. Many tea connoisseurs prefer sejak to woojeon for its bolder aroma and flavor profile.

Expect an elegant and smooth medium-bodied cup with a hint of floral and vegetal notes.
