Recommended for tea lovers who find ripe pu-erh "too fishy" and need a gradual introduction to ripe pu-erh; as a digestif after a heavy meal

Have you ever walked the forest after a rainfall? The moist ground with wood chips that bring rich earthy aroma and a calming comfort that you want to feel after a long day. This ripe pu'er (or pu-erh) feels like the perfect weekend getaway in the woods.

Perfectly smooth and rich, this 13-year-old aged tea has a balanced mix of buds and leaves from almost century-old tea trees in Menghai, Yunnan Province. The dark mahogany liquor is warm with earthy and woody notes, and the velvety body lingers with a surprisingly refreshing quality. This tea will set a new standard for your ripe pu'er tea.

The tea also pairs well with creamy cheese, such as Brillat Savarin, coconut baked goods, and dark chocolates. As an added benefit, its fermented properties will make this your go-to digestive tea after a heavy meal.

    Exceptional tea and customer service

Was really looking forward to trying this tea, as it is very unique. But really wanted to write a review commenting on how exceptional the customer service is; Mimi and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure I could get my tea after the delivery encountered some delays due to mistake on my side! Currently enjoying my cup of tea! Would highly recommend Mansa Tea!

    Great service and quality product

Ashley did an amazing virtual tasting for my company and i bought some of this tea. it’s very subtle but also smooth drinking. I normally like stronger teas but appreciated the light but distinct flavor.

The marketing, packaging, and ordering experience were top notch and i’d recommend this company to anyone looking to learn more about chinese teas.

A Very Flavorful, Yet Balanced Tea

The aromatics were elegantly nuanced with notes of sugarcane, damp wood, mineral-rich soil, shiitake mushrooms, and strong petrichor (the earthy scent that is produced when rain falls on dry soil).

The flavor notes were indicative of cinnamon, sugarcane, rain-drenched wood, petrichor, soy sauce, menthol, and just a hint of snickerdoodles. There was never even a hint of bitterness.

The texture was thick, velvety, and smooth. Texturally similar to melted dark chocolate.

The body sensation was deeply warming, comforting, and calming.

Overall, this is a very flavorful, yet balanced tea. Very enjoyable!

    Pu'er for Health

This is a wonderful tea- mellow with no bitterness nor sour notes. I was looking for a Pu'er tea mainly for its health benefits. This is my first Pu'er tea and I have been drinking it almost everyday. Hoping for the best!

    What a find!

What a discovery this tea was for me. I never knew tea could be this smooth and without the tannin I associate with dark teas. And to hear how it was made and the fermentation process - I was really taken by it all. It really is the pinnacle of teas. The owners are so knowledgeable and clearly in love with the process and creating the perfect cup. So glad I discovered this!
