Ingredients
Naturally Organic Korean Black Tea

1oz / 28g yields 40+ cups

Western Brewing: Portion out 3 grams of tea for 12 fl oz water, and brew at 205°F for 3 minutes using your favorite infuser. Re-steep up to 3 times.

Gongfu Brewing: Portion out 3-5 grams of tea for 4 fl oz of water, and brew at 212°F for 30 seconds using a Gaiwan or a Yixing teapot. Re-steep up to 5-10 times, each time increasing the brew time by 10-20 seconds.

All teas from the Camellia Sinensis tea plant contain naturally-occurring caffeine, and our Boseong Korean Black Tea has medium-high caffeine content. If you would like to lessen caffeine consumption, we recommend brewing with less tea or trying our naturally caffeine-free tisanes, such as Snow Chrysanthemum.

    Rare Air

While the tea was a very lovely full leaf brew, certainly reminiscent of a fine Keemun, at $43 for 1oz, the yield was pitifully low, about 10 decent cups. Stretched for a second steeping the brew was weak and lacked full body. So, although the tea was very nice, at @$4/cup it's pretty expensive.

    Dear Ralph,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Boseong black tea. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the full-bodied flavor reminiscent of a fine Keemun.

Your feedback regarding the yield and value is greatly appreciated. We understand that the price point may seem high for the quantity received. The tea's meticulous craftsmanship contributes to its exceptional quality, rarity, and cost in addition to the high production and labor cost of Korean teas. Also, the number of cups listed on our product pages are based on gongfu brewing as that is our primary method of tasting.

We strive to provide our customers with an unparalleled tea experience, and the Boseong tea is a representation of our commitment to sourcing and offering the finest teas available. While the yield may be lower than some other teas, we believe the depth of flavor and the unique character of this tea make it a truly special indulgence.

Your support means a lot to us, and we're grateful for your honest feedback. It helps us continually improve and ensure that we're providing exceptional value to our valued customers. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or would like recommendations on our more budget-friendly offerings that still deliver an outstanding tea experience.

    Warm regards,
    Mansa Tea Team

    Boseong Black Tea

This tea was a nice change from drinking Assam. This is a lighter black tea and not harsh or bitter. It's a nice afternoon or evening tea. After multiple steeps, this tea is as good or ever better from the first cup.

Hi Brenna, Thank you for your kind words! We're very happy to hear that you loved our Boseong 2019 Korean Black Tea. You can actually steep the tea leaves more than 3 times, and the aroma and the flavors should still be present in those brews. Looking forward to hearing more about your Mansa Tea experience!

    Bosung Black Tea

Hey there, Ashley! I just wanted to let you know that I just tried the Bosung black tea. Um, you might have just found the best black tea I've ever had!! I've never had such a delicious, chocolatey black tea with such heavy fruit notes. This tea is a MAJOR win! If you have extra, I'd seriously buy it!!
