Aged Tea 101 OR
Aged Tea Tasting
Deep-dive into the world of aged tea with a 1-hour virtual tea tasting session led by our Certified Tea Sommelier.
During this session, you and your guests will
• Learn about the history and making of pu-erh tea
• Correctly brew aged tea
• Taste 3 different aged teas
Each attendee will receive a tasting kit, which includes 3 different tea types (1oz each). We also offer the Aged Tea 101 workshop, a similar workshop with a single 1oz aged tea, for lower-budget events.
Gaiwan Brewing Technique
If you are intimidated by brewing loose leaf tea, this workshop is for you.
• Learn to brew a perfect cup of tea without memorizing brewing parameters and temperatures
• Learn to use a Gaiwan properly without spills and finger burns
• Enjoy the maximum potential of loose tea and even taste more from the same tea(!)
Each attendee will receive a brewing kit, which includes a porcelain Gaiwan and 1oz of aged tea.

Cold Brew Technique
Did you know that 80% of tea consumed in America is iced tea? Yet most people make their iced tea by googling "cold brew tea" or sticking to the same old recipe.
Learn to master the art of cold brew by joining this interactive class. We will cover:
• 4 types of iced tea
• 3 ways to make cold brew tea (step-by-step)
• Full tasting notes to taste tea like a pro
Each attendee will receive a brewing kit, which includes 1oz of aged tea and tea bags.
Chocolate or Honey
Aged Tea Pairing
Have you tried pairing chocolate with aged tea? What about honey and tea? Because we think they are a match made in heaven as their flavor and texture profiles complement each other perfectly.
In this workshop, you will taste three of our teas alongside different chocolates or honey.
You will also learn:
• The art of tea pairing
• How to pair tea with chocolate or honey
• The flavor notes to expect from the pairing

introduction to gaiwan tea brewing. This session covered an overview of this traditional brewing vessel and how to brew tea, from the amount of tea, the time to brew the tea, the pleasure of smelling the tea at different stages (dry, wet, on the lid, in the bowl and in the cup) and how the scents chance, as well as how to hold the vessels. I learned that porcelain is the best material to not alter the flavor of the tea. I love my new tea set and have enjoyed this experience. I will continue to use the set, and look forward to trying different teas. The session was all I hoped it to be!

I really enjoyed the warmth and honey notes in the tea. The process of brewing in a Gaiwan was educational and enhanced my love of tradition and enjoyment of the tea. There is something to be said for the relaxation it brings when one takes a deep breath and inhales the aromas. This tradition was as effective as a mediation for me.
